This Privacy Policy describes how Payleute collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you use our website, interact with us, or utilize our specialized Service.
Our Role in Data Processing
We act as a Data Controller when we collect and process data for our own business purposes (e.g., website visitors, marketing leads, and our direct client contact information).
We act as a Data Processor when we handle sensitive employee data on behalf of our clients (the employers), processing this data strictly according to the client’s instructions and contract.
Information We Collect
Data Processed for Our Clients (as Data Processor)
As part of the Service, we process the following categories of personal information for our clients (your employer or prospective employer). This data is provided by the client, the employee, or other authorized third parties:
Identification & Contact Information: Including name, address, phone number, personal and work email address, date of birth, and employee ID.
Financial & Payroll Information: Including Social Security Number (SSN), bank account details, tax filing status, salary, wages, deductions, benefits enrollment, and pension information.
HR & Employment Information: Including job title, work history, performance reviews, disciplinary records, emergency contact details, health/insurance details (for benefits), sick leave, and vacation balances.
Government IDs: Including passport number, driver’s license number, visa/work permit documentation, and National ID/Tax ID (as required for employment and compliance).
Data We Collect Directly (as Data Controller)
We collect data from visitors to our website, prospective clients, and individuals who communicate directly with us:

Sharing for Service Provision (Processor)
We share employee and client data only as necessary to provide the Service, including:

Third-Party Service Providers: Banks for direct deposit, benefits administrators (e.g., health or retirement providers), and background check providers, strictly as directed by our client.
Client Representatives: The client’s authorized HR personnel, managers, and administrators.

If you are an employee of a Payleute client, most requests regarding the personal data we process must be directed to your employer first, as they are the Data Controller.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
